I have to do?
eBook Technologies provides a complete set of publishing tools that allow you to
convert content into the eBook Technologies format. To learn more about these tools
visit the eBook Publisher section of this site.
It is also possible to upload personal content from a variety of formats directly to your
Online Bookshelf. Visit the Personal Content section to learn more.

Do
you plan to expand your security system to other industries, like music
and video?
We are in fact already expanding to other forms or industries. For
example, periodicals and newspapers are not "books" and these
are already available on the eBook Technologies eBook devices, complete with the
photos, charts and graphics that are distinctive of those two formats.
Regarding music and video, the eBook Technologies eBook platform is
capable of 'distributing' music and videos in the same secure way as
text. However, currently, none of the eBook Technologies eBook devices is enabled
to display these formats. We are actively exploring how eBook Technologies standard-setting
technology can deliver real consumer benefits in these two industries.

Will
the eBook Technologies eBook support the Open eBook format?
Yes. eBook Technologies eBook plays an active role in the development of the
OEB format and we are working on making our devices fully OEB compliant.

What
are you doing to protect territorial rights?
Our system protects territorial rights in the same way that the
printed book industry does today: a retailer can only buy books from
the publisher in his territory.
