a useful level of interactivity beyond that of the traditional textbook.

The education markets - including K-12, higher education, professional,
and corporate training - offer exciting opportunities for eBook. eBook Technologies
is exploring these markets.

Content must be formatted specifically for eBook Technologies eBooks, which support
an XML-based standard. Users can download personal content. To learn more visit the

What
format does the eBook Technologies eBook use? Can you talk a little about the future
of eBook format?
The eBook Technologies eBook supports an XML-based format. The senior technologists
of eBook Technologies are also a founding members of the Open eBook (OEB) Forum, a
cross-industry group that is developing a standard publication format for all e-book devices. For

Is

The eBook Technologies eBook can be found at hundreds of public and academic
libraries throughout the country. Libraries buy and download content
for each of their eBook devices and loan the devices to their patrons,
just as they do with a traditional paper version of a book.
